Spaghetti carbonara recipe
What are the ingredients for this recipe? 200g/7oz dry spaghetti. 2 tbsp olives oil. 6 bacons slices chopped. 2 egg yolks. 35g/1.25oz Parmesan cheese. 2 tablespoon cream. Salt and peeper. 2 tablespoon parsley chopped.
Write down the steps to make spaghetti carbonara.
- prepare all the ingredients
- prepare the pasta:
-add salt to pan of billing water.
-add pasta in to pan, and push it down with spoon.
-add half the oil and cook for 7-10 minutes.
-render the bacon:
-add the olive oil in to warmed pan.
-add chopped bacon.
-stir for a few minutes.
-let the fat melt.
-then turn of heat off.
Combine ingredients:
-add eggs in to the bowl
-add cream
-add Parmesan and combine all together.
Drain pasta:
Drain the pasta thought the colander.
put it place back on pan to drain liquid.
Add egg mixture:
Place pasta in pan with bacon and still well.
Then, add egg mixture and mix well.
Its very important the warmth of pasta will cook eggs but do not overheat.
Add season with salt and pepper, then add chopped parsley.
Serve the pasta in a plate.
And enjoy with a glass of withe wine.
How to make PILAU RICE:
Ingredients to serves for 4 people
250g/9oz long grained rice.
125g/4.5oz cashew nuts.
3 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
4 cloves.
2 cardamom pods.
2cm/1in piece cinnamon stick.
1teaspoon cumin seeds.
6 shallots.
125g/4.5oz raisins.
1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
1 teaspoon of saffron threads.
500ml/18fl oz water.
salt.
1 bunch coriander for garnish.
A little oil for frying.
1 onion for garnish.
Steps:
1. Put the water to boil in the small pot and add the saffron threads. Thoroughly was and drain the rice. Rid of most of the starch in it, enabling it to cook as individual grains.
2. Heat the 3 tablespoon of oil on a high temperature. Add the nuts, cloves, cardamoms, cumin seeds and cinnamon and fry for 2 minutes.
3. Add the shallots and fry for 2 minutes. Add the raisins, salt and turmeric and stir for a few seconds.
4. Add the clean rice and stir well until all the grains have been coated with the spices. Add the boiling water. Cove the pan and turn the heat to low. Allowing the rice to cook gently in its spices. This about 12-15 minutes.
5. Chop the coriander roughly. Slice the onion and brown in a little oil.
6. When the water is absorbed in the pan, test the rice by tasting it to see if it is done. If necessary. leave for another minute, with the lid on.
7. Garnish with the chopped coriander and the crispy browned onion slices, thereby adding extra taste and colour to this dish.
8. Serves with a pan, and any type of curry or a beef carbonade.
