Itally travel 2011 :D

Until easter, we went to italy with our class. We cisited Rome FIrenze and pIsa. It was a short trip bu it was amazing!
in the first day, we had to wake up at 2:30 am, because our bus felt Banyoles at 3 am. That was fine! A lot of people didn't sleep. They spent time until 2:30 am. We didn't sleep anyting!
we arrived to Italy at 8 am. We started to visited a lot of things of there, like the coliseum, " columna de Trajà, some churches etc. Tis day was a long day. When we arrived at the hotel we said, WHATS THAT! We know that the hotel will be evaluated only for 2* but they put the boys 3 floors unter the girls! That was terrible!
The second day, we oke up at 7 am and left the hotel at 8:30.l We started to isit the town. We started for Vatican, the Vatican's museum. etc. For dinner we went to a good restaurant, and then I porposed to the teachers to visit the Fontana de trevi at night, and there we ate and ice-cream thogether for example!
on the 3rd day, in the mrning we left the hotel to visit on ROme and the, we caought a train and we went to Firenze <3 Firenze was the best travel part! it was amazing!
When we arrivet at Firenze, we went to visit. The best was the DUOMO and, of course , The ponte vecchio! so beautiful!
When we arrived at the hotel for spleep in our bedroom (Silvia's Blanca's mios' room) I saw 3 boys in front of our hotel room, on the other street! they were very handsome!! we started to talk with them.
The next day, we went to visit all Firenze and for lunch we met with the boys of the other Hotel, we were talking and loughing! And now we are friends! That night we met with a really good singer, who sang very well on the street and we made up photos, autographs etc.
On the las day, in the morning we went for brakfast to Firenze, and then we caought a train and went to PISA! there we stayed for an afternoon only. We went to the Pisa airport to catch an airplane and return to Girona at 8:30 pm Approximately!
I think that this trip was amazing for different resons; but the most important is that this trip was the last one with all the class tohether... I think that it will be in our hearts for the rests of our lives!

Saturday mooring at school? NO!

Saturday morning at school? NO!

The government plans to introduce a new law which will mean that students will go to school on Saturday morning in order to improve the level of education.

In my opinion, this would have some negative consequences: Firstly, I think that we haven’t time to be with the families and we shouldn’t have time to study and review

In conclusion, I disagree with that law.If there isn't a better alternative. If they introduce Saturdays school, people won't be motivated for school.

My name is Miós Moncayola and I’m student at Casa Nostra School in Banyoles. I’m interested in animals especially in horses, and I can't live without music! A lot of my friend are into my horses’ club, I spend most time of my weekends with them. The things wich I like best are sitting in a pub and talking on Friday night with them or going to the countryside with our horses and have fun!
I think that the world isn’t a bad place. In this live, when have happy moments too, and is not all bad in this world! I think that if we not improve our future, we wouldn't have a interesting or surpassing lives!
There are many things that make me angry, for example, the most important is the people who are ignorant or rude with others. I hate then! That’s horrible!


I think that I will be complicated because I always think in the present or a future near the present. But it sometimes worries me that I don’t know what will happen tomorrow in my life or someone else's. I’m going to wake up?

The first STARBUCKS caffee was opened in Seattle, Washington in 1917 by 3 partnes . The coffe shop was grown.
in1987 the original owners of Starbucks sold it. The new awners quickly began to expand it around the world.
Starbucks became more popular when the new owners expand it. Hollywood movies showed those drinks.
These days, Starbucks are popular over the world. They are produced in different logos and they are bought by people of all ages.

On Monday evening, we're doing a special diner for the party! That will be funny! on Thursday morning we're doing a tour with some of my friends for Banyoles. The lake is so beautiful! In the afternoon, we'll be free for a few hours. Late we are going to Girona (city near Banyoles) and meet some friends if you like! Then we could either walk around the city. I expect we'll end up un one of the cafes in the street, and then going shopping if ou like, it's all up to you!

WRITING 1. THE DECADE 2000.2010

THE DECADE 2000-2010

2000-2010 was a decade which people remember for many reasons. There were bad times such terrorist attacks against civilian population like attacks in New York City, Bali, Madrid, and London where a lot of people were killed. There were also tragic events such natural disaster like tsunami and Hurricane Katrina and also difficult times, for instance the War on Terrorism, War in Afghanistan and economic crisis. But also there were good times like the first African-American President of USA, the expansion of same-sex rights, and internet that did possible for people interact with other people.

In the world of music there were a really different style and a lot of famous artist, for example Beyoncé, Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears and Eminem. In 2009 the King of pop, Michael Jackson, was death. In cinemas, there were a film-series and trilogies very popular like Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, X-Men and Ice Age. Fashions were interesting and varied, it was the era of Converse, Vans and jeans, and a lot of different styles such rappers, punks …

By the end of the decade, the world was a different place. The science and technology advanced a lot and changed people’s lives, for example the Human Genome Project was completed and an artificial heart was implanted. The mobile phone, the computer and internet were very important in that decade.

We’ve been on holiday here in Holland for two weeks now and I’ve just met this guy, John. He’s so handsome, very studios and a good sportsman, but I’m not sure what I should do, because is older than me. I need your advice.

I met him on the city centre and he invited me to a café. Both of us were having a real laugh. Then he took me to the hotel and when I said goodbye he gave me two kisses, and neither of us could say anything more.

I’ve been thinking about John a lot since then. I’ll probably see him tomorrow, but I’m not sure what to do if he asks me out, because he is five years older than me. But he’s lovely (L)!. What do you reckon?

In the Future

In my opinion our lives will be easier in the future, but we'll create a lot of pollution. Scientist will create super-robots wich will do a lot of jobs for us. The robots will do everything for us. We will have a lot of more time for entertainment or relax.

I think it's important that we colonise space. If we don't live on other planets, we'll have more pollution in the earth and we won't survive in it.

In general I feel positive about the future, but the most important is to protect our planet, because we have only one.

If I were you, I would be worried and annoyed, because he is meeting different people, and her behaviour is not really good.

Obviously, you should talk to your friend as quickly as possible. You must speak honestly and tell him that you are worried. If your friend is unfriendly, I think that he isn't your friend!!

So be careful. Unfortunately, people are strange sometimes, and you have to live with it.

Buildings

The empire States building is situated in the centre of NEY YORK. It was built in 13 months in 1930, and was opened in 1931. The Empire States is made of concrete, glass and steel grider. It is a big skyscraper with 87th storeys. Inside there are a lot of offices. This is an office building. I've visited the skyscraper once time and what I liked best are the nice sights from the top.

I'D LIKE TO BE...

My ambition is to be a very good rider. My parents are happy with that, but they think that it also is very important to study, and they say that I must study a career. I wold like to study, for example, law, probably be a lawyer like my mum. My dad's got a business of swimming pools, he thinks that I might work with him in the future but I'm not sure. Now I'm only 14, so my objective is to pass all the subjects well and practice my favourita sport! I'd prefer to think about my career in two years.

Dressage has existed since Middle Ages. It origins started in Spain, and it was very popular in some countries for example: Vienna (Austria) Marialva (Portugal), Versalles, Saumur (France).
The biggest international Dressage competition is the world Championship, which started in 1912. That sport was admitted in Olympic Games since 1912.






One of my favourite competitors is Anky Van Grusven. Anky, won the gold medal at the Olympic games of Dressage three times (2000, 2004, 2008) and she won the silver medal on 1992 at the Olympic Games of Barcelona.

Hi Julia

I'm writing this email from Greece. The weather is really hot here, but I really like it because the landscape is very beautiful and the people are very kind. We're sailing around the country and we're visiting a lot of islands.

We've just arrived here in Stanorini, a small and nice island near Mikonos. In the last days we've visited Creta, Mikonos and Atenes, but we haven't danced Sirtaki yet. So far I've really liked all the things in Greece and the food too! I'm enjoying a lot this trip!

Tonight we're staying in a small and white hotel near the sea. Tomorrow we're going to the beach and we're swimming a lot in the beautiful waters of Aegean's sea.

I hope you're well, Júlia. I miss you so much!!

The chronicles of Narnia.

During the Second World War, four children, Lucy, Susan, Edmund, Peter were sent to countryside. In the country house the children found a magical wardrobe that let them to magical land of Narnia. There they met a beaver who explained them the real story of Narnia and all about the White Witch , the lion Aslan and the prophecy. The witch captured Edmund, and his brothers went to find Aslant to rescue him. When the witch wanted to killed the lion. But he resurrects. The witch declared the war to Asland and the children. Aslan killed the witch and they won the war. The four children were crowned kings of Narnia for 15 years. But when they returned at the wardrobe they were children again.

A survivor's story

Long time ago, I was in a trip with my sister in a luxury cruiser called RMS Titanic, there was 2.223 people on board. On the night of Sunday, the ocean was calm but the temperature was very, very cold. My sisters and I were in the restaurant when the Titanic hit an iceberg.
Suddenly, we saw a lot of water in the restaurant, there was a lot of panic and tense. People were shouting, and I was very frightened. My sisters and I ran at the place where the lifeboats were. When we arrived there, the crew were shouting "womens and children first". It was the protocol followed but the reality was that the ship did not carry enough lifeboats for everyone aboard.
We could embark in a lifeboat, I felt lucky to be alive, but it was the most terrible experience. The Titanic sank in only two hours and forty minutes and a lot of people died. It was one of the most maritime disasters in history.

Describing a life picture!

In my picture the color is green because it's very natural. I think that I'm natural person but I'm always a good joker!

These photos are really special for me, because I'm there with my best friends and my horse. I love them so much! There in the collage, are my best friends of my horse club and my class. They are in the collage because they are great people! One photo of there are Blanca and Júlia in the Japo restaurant of Banyoles. That day was really fantastic, funny and unforgettable. In one of the pictures, I put the sea of Gresse with my friends near the beach, near the cruiser. It was really fantastic!

Thank for those unforgettable moments!

My summer holidays!

In july I went to Pole (England), with my teacher and friends to learn English. I went for three weeks, and it was fantastic, because I met my friends and I met other new people. I enjoyed a lot. In August every day, I went to my horse club to practise Dressage. On 10th of August, with my family and some friends, we went to a cruiser to visit the greek Islands. The first place that we visited was Venetia, it's so beautiful! Then we visited Olympia, Santorini, Mykonos... This cruiser was really fantastic and funy too!
